Queensland Police have escalated their ongoing operations against drug trafficking and related crimes, culminating in a significant series of charges against a 49-year-old man from Kearneys Spring. The extensive investigation, known as Operation Xray Bombard, has led to the man facing over 250 charges, including counts of drug supply and trafficking.

The charges emerged following a detailed raid between July 16 and 18, where multiple police units, including the Toowoomba Protracted Operations Team and the Forensic Search Investigation Team, executed a warrant at a property on Milton Street. The search unearthed an alarming array of firearms, ammunition, drugs, and drug paraphernalia. This discovery has been a part of a broader effort to curtail the flow of dangerous drugs within the Darling Downs District.

Further investigations have led to the accused facing 244 counts of supplying dangerous drugs, two counts of trafficking in dangerous drugs, and several other charges related to crime commissioning and violating domestic violence orders. The accused is currently held in custody and is scheduled for a court appearance at the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on December 15.

Queensland Police urge the public to report any suspicious activities by contacting Policelink or anonymously through Crime Stoppers. This ongoing case highlights the persistent efforts of law enforcement to tackle serious criminal activities across the region.
