The incident, involving a single vehicle, resulted in the death of a 48-year-old man from Marulan, NSW. According to initial reports, the crash took place around 2:00 PM on Tamborine Mountain Road, also known as The Goat Track. The motorcycle reportedly veered off the road and descended an embankment, leading to fatal consequences for the rider. Despite prompt response and emergency treatment at the scene, the man succumbed to his injuries. The Queensland Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of the incident to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation. They are also reminding the public about the importance of road safety, highlighting the ‘Fatal Five’ risky behaviors to avoid: speeding, drink and drug driving, not wearing seatbelts, driving while fatigued, and being distracted.
