Police in Queensland are appealing for public assistance following a hit-and-run incident in Narangba that left an electric scooter rider seriously injured. The incident occurred on October 1, 2025, around 5:15 PM on Boundary Road, where a white utility vehicle struck the scooter and failed to stop.

A 52-year-old man from Monkland was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, while an 18-year-old woman from Gympie, who was also riding the scooter, was unharmed. The vehicle involved is described as a white ute with a cargo tray and ladder rack.

Authorities are urging anyone with information, dashcam, or CCTV footage from the area at the time to come forward. The investigation is ongoing, and police are keen to speak with witnesses to piece together the events leading up to the crash.
