Queensland Police have arrested a third suspect in connection with a violent shooting incident that took place in Slacks Creek on September 21. The 28-year-old woman from Mothar Mountain was taken into custody on September 28, following comprehensive investigations. The incident involved three offenders who allegedly broke into a residence, stole property, and discharged a firearm. During the altercation, a 35-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his leg and was subsequently transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment. The woman faces multiple charges, including two counts of armed robbery with violence and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm. She is slated to appear before the Gympie Magistrates Court on September 29. Two other suspects, a 37-year-old man from Gympie and a 47-year-old from Victory Heights, have also been charged with related offenses. The case remains under judicial review, with all charged individuals awaiting court proceedings.
