Queensland Police are seeking public assistance in the search for a 15-year-old boy who has been missing from Longreach since September 22. The teenager was last spotted on foot along the Old Winton Highway and has not been heard from since, raising concerns due to his young age and the remoteness of the region.

Authorities have reason to believe that the boy might be traveling towards Townsville. Described as Caucasian, approximately 170 cm tall, with a slim build, he has blue/hazel eyes and short mousey blonde hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a grey and white checkered shirt, blue denim jeans, and a distinctive blue and white ‘BEEF PEDDLERS’ hat.

Police urge anyone with information on the boy’s whereabouts to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers. The community is advised to remain vigilant and report any sightings to assist in bringing the boy back to safety. Quote reference number QP2501718576 when providing information.
