Missing Teen Found Safe in Longreach

In a reassuring update, Queensland Police have confirmed that a 15-year-old boy, who was reported missing from Longreach, has been located safe and well. The teenager had been missing since September 22, prompting an appeal for public assistance.

The boy was last seen walking along the Old Winton Highway, with concerns raised due to his young age and the remote location. Authorities believed he might have been heading towards Townsville, and both police and the boy’s family were worried about his welfare.

Queensland Police expressed gratitude to the media and the public for their help in locating the boy. In respect of privacy, identifying details and images have been removed from initial reports.
