President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a significant meeting in New York, coinciding with the 80th session of the UN General Assembly. The dialogue underscored Kazakhstan’s support for Ukraine’s sovereignty amidst ongoing tensions with Russia.

During the meeting, Zelenskyy expressed gratitude towards Kazakhstan for its backing and emphasized the urgency of achieving a just and lasting peace with reliable security guarantees. He reiterated Ukraine’s readiness for leadership-level dialogues, criticizing Russia for imposing conditions that hinder genuine negotiations.
