Police have charged two men following a disturbance in Main Beach, Queensland, where they were allegedly found in possession of gel blasters. The incident occurred on the evening of September 18, 2025, at the intersection of Muriel Henchman Drive and Seaworld Drive, where a group of men was reportedly pointing weapons towards nearby bushland. A 42-year-old man from Main Beach and an 18-year-old from Southport were each charged with one count of going armed to cause fear. They are scheduled to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on October 2, 2025. Queensland Police Service has stated that investigations are ongoing.
