Queensland Police have charged a 57-year-old man with grievous bodily harm (GBH) following a violent disturbance in Loganlea on the evening of September 18. The incident, which occurred at approximately 7:30 PM on Haig Street, involved the alleged use of a weapon causing injury to two individuals. According to police reports, the man threatened a 40-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, both residents of Loganlea. The male victim was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital, while the female victim was taken to Logan Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The accused is facing two counts of acts intended to cause GBH or transmit a serious disease and is scheduled to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today, September 19.
