In a significant move to bolster international pressure on Russia, Ukraine has aligned its sanctions with the United Kingdom, targeting entities that support Russia’s military-industrial complex, shadow fleet, and energy sector. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the relevant decrees following the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

The synchronized sanctions target 47 individuals and 81 legal entities, including major companies like Stroyservis and the Russian Energy Group, which are involved in coal extraction in occupied territories and the operation of the shadow fleet. These companies are already under U.S. sanctions.

Ukraine has also imposed restrictions on 37 individuals and 35 legal entities supplying IT solutions to Russia’s military-industrial complex. Notable among these are Sitronics KT, SINTO, and Baltinfokom, which provide critical technological support to Russian military operations. This move reflects Ukraine’s efforts to unify sanctions measures across allied nations.
