In a swift response early this morning, Queensland Police have arrested two men following a violent incident in Nerang. The arrests come after a man and a woman were reportedly wounded during an alleged home invasion. The incident occurred shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Dugandan Street, where two men are alleged to have forcibly entered a property. Inside, they reportedly assaulted a 58-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman. Following the attack, the male victim sustained injuries to his lower back, while the female suffered a laceration to her head. Both victims were promptly transported to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment. Police arrived at the scene shortly after the attack and apprehended the two suspects.
