A 25-year-old man from Park Avenue has been charged with multiple offences following a series of break-ins across Rockhampton, Queensland. Over a span of two months, the alleged perpetrator targeted 14 businesses and restaurants in the South Rockhampton area, stealing electronic devices, cash, keys, and liquor. Authorities claim the man caused significant damage to the entrances of several establishments to gain access, although no injuries were reported as the premises were closed at the time. Despite attempts to enter additional businesses, these efforts were reportedly unsuccessful. The suspect was apprehended on September 4 after being spotted at a Main Street hotel. He now faces 16 counts of entering premises and committing an indictable offence, along with charges of possessing dangerous drugs, obstructing a police officer, and attempted entry with intent to commit an indictable offence. Currently remanded in custody, the man is scheduled to appear before the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on October 3. Police are urging anyone with further information to contact Policelink or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers. Post navigation Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Bundaberg
