In a startling revelation, a 25-year-old woman from Tugun, Queensland, has been charged with multiple counts of stalking and fraud. The charges stem from alleged offenses committed against two men from southwest Queensland between January and March of this year.

According to Queensland Police Service (QPS), the woman reportedly engaged in online relationships with a 37-year-old man from Kingaroy and a 31-year-old man from Tara. After establishing a brief rapport, she allegedly bombarded them with messages, falsely claiming pregnancy and requesting money for medical expenses. It is further alleged that she provided fake ultrasound images and claimed to have given birth, continuing to solicit funds.

The accused faces a total of 16 charges, including five counts of fraud and four counts each of forgery and uttering. Additional charges include stalking, possessing dangerous drugs, and possession of a utensil. She remains in custody and is slated to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on September 19, 2025.

Police are extending their investigation, suspecting that more individuals might have been targeted. Authorities urge anyone with pertinent information, especially those in the Gold Coast area, to contact them. Assistance can be provided through Policelink or anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
