On September 1, 2025, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy marked the beginning of the new academic year by visiting a school in the Kyiv region, celebrating Knowledge Day with students and staff. The President engaged with students and the school administration, signing the school’s book of honored guests and observing various educational activities conducted on campus. The school, which accommodates 960 students, stands out for its modern facilities that align with the New Ukrainian School standards. It features state-of-the-art interactive technology in classrooms and a rooftop terrace designed for outdoor learning and recreation. The facility also boasts a multipurpose area, sports and dance spaces, club rooms for extracurricular activities, and sports fields for football, basketball, and volleyball. In line with the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Environment, spearheaded by Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska, the school has implemented measures to ensure an accessible educational environment. Safety features, including dispatcher call buttons, fire alarms, and a public address system, have been installed to enhance security and communication across the school premises.
