A tragic traffic incident has occurred in Glenore Grove, prompting a thorough investigation by the Forensic Crash Unit of the Queensland Police Service. On the evening of August 30, a white Toyota Landcruiser veered off the Warrego Highway and crashed near Laidley Creek Bridge. The vehicle’s driver, a 67-year-old man from Regency Downs, was found deceased a short distance from the crash site.

Emergency services were alerted to the scene around 6:45 pm on August 31 after reports of an abandoned vehicle on the highway. Upon arrival, police conducted a search which led to the discovery of the driver’s body. Preliminary investigations suggest that after the crash, the driver exited the vehicle before succumbing to his injuries.
