Fatal Crash Rocks Glenore Grove

A tragic traffic incident has occurred in Glenore Grove, prompting a thorough investigation by the Forensic Crash Unit of the Queensland Police Service. On the evening of August 30, a white Toyota Landcruiser veered off the Warrego Highway and crashed near Laidley Creek Bridge. The vehicle’s driver, a 67-year-old man from Regency Downs, was found deceased a short distance from the crash site.

Emergency services were alerted to the scene around 6:45 pm on August 31 after reports of an abandoned vehicle on the highway. Upon arrival, police conducted a search which led to the discovery of the driver’s body. Preliminary investigations suggest that after the crash, the driver exited the vehicle before succumbing to his injuries.

Queensland Police are currently seeking assistance from the public. Authorities urge any witnesses or those with relevant footage of the incident to come forward. The ongoing investigation aims to uncover the circumstances leading up to this tragic accident.
