Tragic Crash Claims Life in Queensland

A fatal single-vehicle crash occurred in Apple Tree Creek, Queensland, resulting in the death of a 60-year-old man from Bundaberg South. The incident took place on the night of August 30, 2025, and was reported by Queensland Police Service (QPS) Media.

Emergency services were dispatched around 9:30 PM to the scene on Bruce Highway after receiving reports of a crash. Preliminary investigations suggest the driver was traveling from Childers Road and failed to negotiate a turn onto the highway, leading the vehicle to crash into a culvert. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
