A fatal traffic accident in Rocklea claimed the life of a motorcyclist on the afternoon of August 27, 2025. The incident involved a motorcycle, a utility vehicle, and a truck on Granard Road. Police and emergency services arrived at the scene around 4:20 pm, where the motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man from Thornlands, was pronounced dead. The drivers of the other vehicles, a 35-year-old man from Moorooka and another 35-year-old man, respectively, were unharmed in the collision. Queensland Police’s Forensic Crash Unit has launched an investigation into the accident. Authorities are urging witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage to assist in the investigation by coming forward.
