Samsung Electronics has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Microsoft to integrate Microsoft Copilot into its 2025 lineup of TVs and Smart Monitors. This collaboration marks a significant step in enhancing on-screen experiences through personalized and intelligent AI features.

The integration of Microsoft Copilot allows users to interact with their TVs and monitors using simple voice commands or remote clicks. This feature aims to streamline the process of searching and engaging with content by offering tailored experiences and instant access to information directly from the screen. Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of the Customer Experience Team at Samsung, highlighted that the integration of Copilot sets a new standard for AI-powered screens, making it easier and more enjoyable for users to discover content and perform everyday tasks.

In addition to this new functionality, Samsung has upgraded its Click to Search feature and Bixby voice assistant to create a more connected smart display experience. With Copilot available through Samsung Tizen OS home, Samsung Daily+, and Click to Search, the AI companion provides conversational support and personalized recommendations for a variety of scenarios. Whether viewers are seeking information about a movie, learning a new language, or exploring complex topics, Copilot is designed to respond quickly and contextually.

As the global leader in TV manufacturing for 19 consecutive years, Samsung leverages this expertise to deliver an intuitive AI companion for the home. David Washington, Partner General Manager at Microsoft AI, emphasized that Copilot on Samsung TVs aims to create a shared experience in the living room, combining Samsung’s advanced display technology with Microsoft’s powerful AI to enrich the way people interact with their largest home screen.
