Detectives from the Yeppoon Criminal Investigation Branch, in collaboration with the Homicide Investigation Group, have charged a 36-year-old man in connection with a recent homicide in Lammermoor, Queensland. The arrest follows thorough investigations into the death of a 27-year-old man, who was found with life-threatening injuries at a Maida Street residence on August 22. Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 7 a.m., but despite immediate first aid efforts, the victim was pronounced dead on-site. A crime scene was subsequently established as investigations commenced. The accused, a resident of Berserker, now faces murder charges and is scheduled to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on August 26.
