In a tragic incident this morning, a 71-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision in Walkervale, Bundaberg. The accident involved a silver Nissan X-trail, a white Toyota Hilux, and a CF Moto motorbike, according to Queensland Police Service (QPS).

The crash occurred at approximately 8:05 am on Barolin Street. Emergency services arrived promptly, but the motorcyclist, a resident of Kawungan, was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan, a 75-year-old woman from Tinana, was transported to Bundaberg Hospital for precautionary measures. Meanwhile, the driver of the Hilux, a 61-year-old man from North Isis, escaped without physical injuries.
