Police in Queensland have launched a homicide investigation following the death of a woman in Taigum on August 23. Emergency services responded to a call at Osprey Place around 12:30 am, discovering a 47-year-old woman with critical injuries who was later declared dead at the scene. The investigation led officers to a second location at Hackman Street, McDowall, where a 52-year-old man was found and is currently assisting with inquiries. Authorities have established crime scenes at both the Taigum and McDowall addresses. Queensland Police are appealing to the public for any information, particularly from those who may have witnessed suspicious activity or have CCTV footage from the Osprey Place area during the night.
