In an early morning incident on August 19, Queensland police successfully apprehended a 45-year-old man from Browns Plains following an alleged attempted break and enter in Rochedale. The man was reportedly armed and sought to gain entry to a property on Platypus Circuit. Authorities were alerted to the situation around 11:30 a.m., prompting a swift response. Upon arrival, the suspect fled on foot but was tracked by officers to Lorisch Way, where he attempted to enter a second property. The police managed to apprehend him at this location. The suspect faces eight charges, including two counts of attempted enter dwelling with intent, as well as charges related to possessing dangerous drugs and a knife in a public place. He is scheduled to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 20.
