NASA and SpaceX are gearing up for their 33rd commercial resupply mission to the International Space Station (ISS). The launch is scheduled for 2:45 a.m. EDT on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The mission will see a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carrying a Dragon spacecraft filled with over 5,000 pounds of supplies, science investigations, and equipment. The Dragon is expected to autonomously dock with the ISS’s Harmony module by 7:30 a.m. on Monday, August 25. Among the key scientific materials on board are bone-forming stem cells and materials for 3D printing medical implants, aimed at advancing treatments for nerve damage and studying blood vessel development in microgravity.

In addition to its primary mission, the Dragon will conduct a reboost demonstration to maintain the ISS’s altitude, using its independent propellant system. This demonstration follows a successful initial test in November 2024.

NASA’s coverage of the launch and docking will be available on various platforms, including NASA+, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. Public engagement is encouraged through social media, with virtual attendance options also available for enthusiasts. For more details, visit NASA’s official website.
