Queensland Police have charged a 28-year-old man with murder following the investigation into the sudden death of a 29-year-old man at Reserve Park, Slacks Creek. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, August 13, has been under intense scrutiny by local detectives.

Police executed search warrants at locations in Bald Hills and Slacks Creek, leading to the suspect’s arrest. The operation, dubbed Operation X-Ray Aggregate, is being conducted by the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch, along with the Intelligence and Homicide Investigation Units.

The accused faces charges of murder, breach of domestic violence offenses, and drug-related offenses. He is scheduled to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on August 18. The investigation remains active as authorities seek further information from the public.
