Fatal Crash Shakes Regents Park

In a tragic event that unfolded on the morning of August 17, 2025, a fatal traffic crash occurred in Regents Park, resulting in the deaths of a 33-year-old man and a 4-year-old boy. The incident took place around 11:15 am on Green Road, where a white LDV dual cab utility collided with the two pedestrians, who were known to each other.

The driver of the vehicle, a 41-year-old man from Regents Park, was apprehended at the scene by police and has subsequently been charged with two counts of manslaughter. He is scheduled to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on August 18.

The Forensic Crash Unit and Logan District Child Protection and Investigation Unit are actively investigating the incident. Authorities have called on the public to assist by providing any information or footage related to the vehicle prior to the crash.
