In a recent address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of Ukraine’s involvement in international peace negotiations, asserting that sustainable peace can only be achieved with the country’s active participation in decision-making processes. This statement came following discussions with several international leaders, including President Erdoğan of Türkiye, who reiterated support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and independence.

President Zelenskyy highlighted Türkiye’s involvement in the Coalition of the Willing, underlining its significance in advancing real peace and security. Additionally, he expressed gratitude towards European leaders and the European Union for their unified stance in supporting Ukraine, despite the dissent from one member state.

The Ukrainian leader also acknowledged the mediation efforts of Qatar’s Amir in securing the release of children abducted by Russia, marking a significant humanitarian achievement. As part of Ukraine’s strategic efforts, Zelenskyy reported ongoing preparations with the Netherlands to enhance military capabilities, particularly through the acquisition of drones.

Furthermore, President Zelenskyy addressed domestic issues, announcing measures to bolster educational opportunities for young Ukrainians. These include increased scholarships, simplified admission processes for higher education, and revised border-crossing rules to encourage students to remain in Ukraine. Zelenskyy remains committed to strengthening Ukraine’s defenses and fostering a future for its youth within the nation.
