In a significant operation by the Indooroopilly Criminal Investigation Branch, a 27-year-old man from Woodridge has been charged with 18 offenses following the discovery of a suspicious vehicle on August 9. The vehicle, a 2004 gold Mercedes with fake plates, was located at a Stamford Road address, leading to a comprehensive search by patrolling officers.

The search unveiled a cache of illegal items, including three firearms—a modified revolver, an airsoft shotgun, and a homemade pistol—as well as two knives, assorted ammunition, and a variety of drugs. The drugs found comprised methamphetamine, cannabis, and gamma hydroxybutyric acid, alongside paraphernalia and stolen property such as a registration plate, clothing, and a skateboard.

The accused faces multiple charges, including unlawful possession of weapons, stealing, possession of dangerous drugs, and other related offenses. He is currently remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 10.
