Detectives from the Ipswich Child Protection and Investigation Unit (CPIU) have charged a 28-year-old man from North Booval with multiple offences related to child exploitation material. The charges include possessing and making child exploitation material, as well as stalking.

Following an intensive investigation, law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at the man’s residence on August 8, seizing several digital devices allegedly containing illicit material. It is alleged that the accused sent unsolicited sexualized messages to multiple victims via various social media platforms during July and August 2025.

The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, faces three counts of stalking, two counts of making child exploitation material, and one count of possession of such material. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on August 14.

Detectives believe additional victims may have been contacted and urge community members aware of similar offenses to come forward. The ongoing investigation aims to uncover further information and ensure the safety of potential victims.
