Ukraine and Sweden Strengthen Defense Ties

The two leaders delved into the current diplomatic and military situation, with President Zelenskyy expressing gratitude for Sweden’s $4 billion defense assistance to Ukraine.

Prime Minister Kristersson reaffirmed Sweden’s commitment, alongside other Nordic countries, to achieving a swift and just resolution to the conflict. He emphasized the importance of maintaining pressure on Russia to take responsibility for ending the war. The leaders agreed to continue collaborating with international partners to fortify their strategic positions.
