A significant drug trafficking operation has been dismantled in Mareeba, Queensland, following the arrest of a 31-year-old woman by the State Flying Squad and Far Northern District police officers. The arrest, made on August 1, was the result of a search warrant executed on a Walsh Street property.

During the search, authorities seized a substantial quantity of cash, methylamphetamine, clip seal bags, various prescription medications, and multiple phones and electronic devices. The woman has been charged with three counts of supplying dangerous drugs, along with several other drug-related offenses.

Additionally, the suspect faces charges related to a 2024 offense involving the trafficking of methylamphetamine. The accused appeared in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on August 4, where the case continues to unfold.

The Queensland Police Service has urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to Crime Stoppers or local authorities as efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region continue.
