In a significant drug enforcement action, Queensland Police have charged a 50-year-old man with multiple drug-related offenses following a search in Kingaroy. On July 31, officers from the Kingaroy Criminal Investigation Branch, alongside the State Flying Squad, executed a search warrant at a property on Doonkuna Street. The search allegedly uncovered nine cannabis plants, 1.14 kilograms of dried cannabis, two growing devices, and various drug utensils. The Kingaroy resident now faces charges including possession and production of dangerous drugs, supply of dangerous drugs, possession of items used in the commission of a crime, and failure to dispose of a syringe, among others. The man is scheduled to reappear before the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 29 as investigations into the case continue.
