Tragic Collision Claims Life in Toowoomba

In a tragic incident, a fatal traffic collision occurred in Toowoomba on the evening of July 30, prompting an investigation by the Forensic Crash Unit. The crash involved a white Toyota Landcruiser and a silver Toyota Aurion on Toowoomba Karara Road in Wyreema.

The Landcruiser, driven by a 37-year-old woman from Felton, collided with the Aurion, driven by a 57-year-old woman from Wyreema, who tragically died at the scene. The Felton driver and her three young passengers, aged three, four, and six, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Toowoomba Hospital.

Authorities are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward. The Forensic Crash Unit’s investigation is ongoing, and police are seeking public assistance to piece together the events leading up to the crash.
