In a significant operation, Queensland Police have charged three individuals with multiple offences following a raid on a property in Kearneys Spring. The search, conducted on July 27, led to the discovery of substantial quantities of drugs, weapons, and stolen items. Officers responded to reports of dangerous driving at a Stumm Street address at approximately 11:55 am. Upon arrival, several individuals fled the scene, with one suspect discarding a suspicious bag over a neighboring fence. The bag was found to contain 82.2 grams of methylamphetamine, cannabis, $4,400 in cash, restricted medications, drug paraphernalia, and a knife. Further investigation of the property yielded 52 stolen power tools, stolen number plates, a taser, and two mobile phones. Among those charged is a 52-year-old man facing multiple counts related to drugs and possession of suspicious items. He is set to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on August 26. Additionally, a 25-year-old woman has been charged with similar offences, including unlawful possession of weapons and receiving tainted property.
