NASA has announced that media accreditation is now open for SpaceX’s 33rd commercial resupply mission to the International Space Station (ISS). The mission is scheduled for liftoff no earlier than August 21, 2025, from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This mission will see a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Dragon spacecraft, which will deliver vital scientific investigations, supplies, and equipment to the orbiting laboratory.

U.S. media representatives interested in covering the launch must submit their accreditation requests by August 3, 2025. The mission is part of NASA’s ongoing partnership with SpaceX to provide critical cargo to the ISS, enabling the continuation of scientific research and technological advancements in space.

Among the new experiments being delivered are bone-forming stem cells for studying bone loss prevention, materials for 3D printing medical implants, bioprinted liver tissue to study blood vessel development in microgravity, and supplies for 3D printing metal cubes in space. These investigations aim to enhance our understanding of biological processes and develop new technologies that could benefit life on Earth.

For nearly 25 years, the ISS has been a cornerstone of human presence in space, facilitating groundbreaking scientific discoveries and technological innovations. The continued resupply missions ensure that this international collaboration remains a hub for cutting-edge research and a stepping stone for future exploration beyond Earth’s orbit.
