Authorities are investigating a fatal incident that occurred in Carrara, Queensland, on the evening of July 24, 2025. A 63-year-old local man lost his life after being hit by two vehicles on Nerang Broadbeach Road.

Emergency services responded to the scene near Birmingham Road at approximately 7:10 p.m., following reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Initial findings from the Forensic Crash Unit suggest the man was crossing the road when a Holden Commodore hit him. Subsequently, a Ford Falcon also struck him on the opposite side of the road.

Neither the 57-year-old male driver of the Holden nor the 51-year-old female driver of the Ford was injured. Both drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with police inquiries. Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage around the time of the incident to come forward, referencing case number QP2501299036.
