Detectives from the Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch are calling for public assistance following a violent robbery in Bundamba last month. The incident occurred on June 21, when a man reportedly attempted to enter several units at a residential complex on River Road around 6 a.m.

Shortly thereafter, the suspect allegedly confronted and assaulted the driver of a 2017 grey Nissan Navara utility near the intersection of Law Street and Vale Street, subsequently stealing the vehicle. The driver, a 30-year-old man, sustained injuries to his shoulder and face and required medical treatment.

Queensland Police have released images of a man who may hold crucial information related to the investigation. Authorities urge anyone who can identify the individual or has sighted the stolen vehicle to contact police or Crime Stoppers immediately.
