Tragic Collision Claims Two Lives

In a devastating incident on July 17, a fatal crash at Atherton claimed the lives of two elderly individuals. The crash occurred around 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of Kennedy Highway and Malanda Atherton Road, where a Toyota Landcruiser collided with a Subaru towing a caravan.

Emergency services were quickly on the scene, but despite their efforts, the occupants of the Landcruiser, a man and woman in their eighties, were pronounced dead at the scene. The Forensic Crash Unit is conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
