Detectives from the Rockhampton Criminal Investigation Branch have charged two men following a significant drug bust in Rockhampton on July 16. The operation targeted two separate addresses, leading to the discovery of substantial quantities of illegal substances and cash.

The first raid occurred at an Angela Road property in Rockyview at approximately 7 a.m. Police allege the discovery of hydroponic drug lab equipment, around 40 cannabis plants, and large quantities of cash and illegal tobacco products. A 57-year-old man from Rockyview was subsequently charged with multiple offences, including possession of dangerous drugs and tainted property. He is scheduled to appear before the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on August 6.

A second raid took place around noon at a Glenmore Road property in Park Avenue. Police reportedly seized methamphetamine, cocaine, cannabis, LSD, and a large sum of cash and drug paraphernalia. A 21-year-old man from Park Avenue faces ten charges, including possession of dangerous drugs and a weapon. He is due in court today, July 17.
