Queensland Police are investigating a fatal traffic incident that occurred in Wynnum this morning, resulting in the death of a 14-year-old boy. The tragic event took place around 8:20 am on Berrima Street when a Pajero vehicle struck the young pedestrian.

The driver of the vehicle, a 17-year-old male, along with two passengers—a 41-year-old woman and a 16-year-old male—were present at the scene but did not sustain any physical injuries. The Forensic Crash Unit has been tasked with determining the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Authorities are reaching out to the public for assistance. They are seeking any witnesses or individuals who may possess dashcam or CCTV footage of the area around the time of the incident.
