In a tragic incident this morning, a man lost his life in a two-vehicle collision on the D’Aguilar Highway at Caboolture, Queensland. The crash occurred around 6:22 am when a yellow MG MG5 collided with a silver Toyota Landcruiser on the southbound Bruce Highway on-ramp. The driver of the MG5, a 50-year-old man from Palmview, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Landcruiser, a 47-year-old Caboolture resident, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Caboolture Hospital for treatment. Queensland Police are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward to aid in the ongoing investigation by the Forensic Crash Unit.
