Police in North Brisbane are investigating two separate break-ins that occurred early on June 28, 2025. The incidents took place in the suburbs of Chapel Hill and Fig Tree Pocket, with both cases involving two male suspects. At approximately 5:30 a.m., the first incident unfolded on Kingfisher Place in Chapel Hill. The homeowner, a 53-year-old man, confronted two intruders inside his residence. One suspect, described as wearing a white hoodie and black balaclava, demanded the keys to a Porsche parked outside. The suspects fled the scene in a white sedan, and fortunately, the homeowner was unharmed and no items were stolen. Shortly before 6:00 a.m., a second break-in was reported on Thiesfield Street in Fig Tree Pocket. In this instance, a white Kia Cerato was stolen by two males, who have yet to be apprehended along with the vehicle. Police are currently investigating whether the two incidents are linked and are appealing to the public for assistance.
