Authorities in Queensland have charged a 30-year-old man from Wurdong Heights with multiple domestic violence-related offences after a series of incidents in Gladstone. The arrest, carried out by the Gladstone Domestic, Family Violence and Vulnerable Person Unit, was supported by various local police units. According to police reports, the incidents occurred over a six-month period between December 2024 and June 2025.

The man faces nine charges, including four counts of common assault and three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, both under domestic violence classifications. Additional charges include using a mobile phone to menace and harass, as well as coercive control. Acting Inspector Glen Fletcher highlighted the Capricornia District’s zero-tolerance policy towards domestic violence, emphasizing the commitment to support victims and hold offenders accountable.
