In a stark warning at the GLOBSEC 2025 Security Forum, Dariia Zarivna, Chief Operating Officer of Bring Kids Back UA and Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, highlighted the global security threat posed by Russia’s policy of militarizing abducted Ukrainian children. Zarivna called on the international community to recognize the long-term implications of this strategy during a panel discussion titled “The Fight to Return Ukraine’s Stolen Children.”

The forum, held on June 15, 2025, served as a platform for Ukraine to raise awareness about the ongoing conflict with Russia, emphasizing the need for a principled global response. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his address, criticized the continuous Russian strikes across Ukraine, which have caused significant loss of life and damage, particularly in regions such as Kherson, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Sumy.

Furthermore, President Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to the rescuers who responded to a Russian strike on Kremenchuk, describing it as a deliberate attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. He reiterated that only severe financial constraints could potentially alter Russia’s aggressive stance, urging the world to remain vigilant against Russian tactics.
