President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska have commenced their official visit to Austria with a pivotal meeting with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and First Lady Doris Schmidauer in Vienna. The discussions are set to focus on enhanced collaboration and support for Ukraine amid ongoing challenges.

The bilateral talks aim to bolster relations between the two nations, concentrating on Austria’s involvement in Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction and addressing humanitarian issues such as demining and energy restoration. Both leaders are also expected to deliberate on food security and the construction of necessary shelters.

A significant portion of the dialogue will be dedicated to the critical issue of Ukrainian children who have been illegally deported and transferred by Russia. The meeting will explore strategies for their return, continued medical treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery.

This visit underscores the commitment of both countries to strengthen their partnership and support the Ukrainian people during these challenging times.
