Police are investigating a series of robberies involving food delivery drivers in Ipswich, Queensland. The incidents, which occurred on the night of June 12, have prompted a police appeal for information from the public.

The first robbery took place at approximately 8:20 p.m. when a 27-year-old delivery driver was targeted on Omar Street, West Ipswich. The driver, while delivering food, was approached by a male and two teenage girls. The girls allegedly pushed the driver, stealing food and a bag containing money before fleeing into a nearby unit complex. Fortunately, the driver was not injured.

Later that night, around 10:30 p.m., a second incident occurred on Young Street, Riverview. A 20-year-old female delivery driver was confronted after being informed by the homeowner that no order had been placed. As she returned to her vehicle, three youths, with faces covered, threatened her with a knife, demanding her phone and car keys. Despite complying, the offenders abandoned the car and fled on foot. The driver was unharmed.

Authorities are exploring potential links between the two robberies. They urge anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
