According to Euromonitor International, Samsung led the market in microwave sales volume in 2024, continuing a streak that began in 2015. The company’s success is attributed to its focus on design and usability, which aligns with consumer preferences in Europe. Taehwan Hwang, Executive Vice President and Head of the Sales & Marketing Team for the Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics, stated, “We will continue to lead the market by leveraging our strengths in smart connectivity and premium design.” Part of Samsung’s strategy includes the introduction of the Bespoke Microwave lineup, which offers a variety of colors and a sleek glass finish, appealing to consumers interested in kitchen aesthetics. Additionally, the MW7300B All-in-one Microwave Oven, launched in 2024, features SmartThings compatibility, allowing for remote operation and integration with voice assistants like Bixby.
