President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the unchanging nature of Russia’s intentions and the critical role of international support in his recent address. Highlighting upcoming international summits, Zelenskyy stressed the need for decisive European and American resolve to increase pressure on Moscow.

In anticipation of the G7 Summit in Canada and the NATO Summit in the Netherlands, the President called for substantive outcomes and reinforced sanctions against Russia. He advocated exploring the use of frozen Russian assets to bolster Ukraine’s defense, stating that forceful international engagement is necessary to communicate effectively with Russia.

Zelenskyy also addressed ongoing efforts to secure the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war, criticizing Russia for not providing full lists for exchange agreements. He warned that Russia’s non-compliance in humanitarian matters could undermine international diplomatic efforts.

Acknowledging the challenges on the front lines, Zelenskyy praised the resilience of Ukrainian forces, specifically commending the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade and the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade for their performance in the Pokrovsk direction. He urged citizens to heed air raid alerts and continue supporting Ukraine’s defense efforts.
