Dutton Park detectives in Brisbane have made arrests in connection to a stolen car and burglary incident. According to Queensland Police Service, on May 28, a grey Hyundai was reported stolen from a Pullenvale address. Subsequently, the stolen vehicle was allegedly used in a break-in at a Bulimba residence, where personal items, including jewelry, were taken. The suspects then reportedly stole a white Lexus from another Bulimba address, and while fleeing the scene, the stolen Lexus collided with a police vehicle. The grey Hyundai was later found abandoned at a property. Following investigations, two 19-year-old men from Bundamba were apprehended outside a fast food restaurant in Gatton on June 3. The first suspect faces charges of five counts of burglary, stealing, and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. The second suspect has been charged with six counts of burglary and three counts of entering a dwelling. Both individuals appeared in Gatton Magistrates Court on the same day.
