President of Ukraine Honors Children with “Future of Ukraine” Awards

President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, along with his wife Olena Zelenska, presented the first “Future of Ukraine” awards to children who have shown remarkable courage and resilience in the face of adversity. These children, who have experienced occupation, deportation, and personal loss, have also provided aid to those in need, supported Ukrainian defenders, and volunteered their time for the betterment of their country.

The ceremony, held on June 3, 2025, highlighted the bravery and selflessness of these young individuals, showcasing their dedication to making a positive impact on their community. The awards serve as a recognition of their outstanding contributions and as a symbol of hope for the future of Ukraine.

In another development, President Zelenskyy addressed the ongoing conflict with Russia, emphasizing the need for continued international pressure to achieve peace. He thanked Americans and Europeans for their support in pressuring Russia and called for new sanctions in response to Russia’s aggressive actions.

Additionally, President Zelenskyy met with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to discuss the importance of international oversight at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. He reaffirmed Ukraine’s commitment to ensuring the plant’s safety and security, emphasizing that any attempt by Russia to interfere with the plant’s operations would be unacceptable.
