Rockhampton Detectives have charged two men with 22 offenses related to break-ins and thefts in Rockhampton. The incidents occurred at various businesses and locations in May, with property crimes ranging from attempted vehicle thefts to stolen furniture. Among the reported incidents, vehicles at a Gladstone Road business and Elphinstone Street business were targeted in unsuccessful theft attempts. Additionally, two white Toyota Landcruisers were allegedly stolen from a Mclaughlin Street business. Further break-ins occurred at a Bridge Street restaurant and two High Street businesses, with no reported stolen property. A white Landcruiser Hilux was stolen from a Musgrave Street premises and later found at a different location. Police executed search warrants at residences on Water Street and Cassia Street, recovering stolen items and drugs. A Berserker man, 28, faces multiple charges including unlawful use of a motor vehicle and drug possession, while a Norman Gardens man, 39, is charged with various offenses including entering premises and vehicle theft. The Berserker man has been remanded in custody pending a court appearance in July, while the Norman Gardens man is set to appear in court in June.
